Mr Traffic FAQ
Answers about Telegram analytics, channel ownership, the Analytics Bot, advertising marketplace features and account safety.
Getting started
What is Mr Traffic?
Mr Traffic helps you discover Telegram channels, review available analytics and explore advertising offers from channel owners. Use the data as a starting point, then review the channel and placement terms yourself.
Is Mr Traffic free to use?
You can browse the public channel catalog and available public analytics without an account. Some features require sign-in or verified channel ownership. Check the terms and any price shown for a specific feature or advertising offer before using it.
Can I analyze a Telegram channel I don't own?
Yes. You can review available public analytics for channels in the catalog without owning them. Ownership is required to manage a channel’s settings or connect its Analytics Bot; public access does not grant control of the channel.
Telegram analytics
What is verified Telegram analytics?
In Mr Traffic, verified analytics indicates an active Analytics Bot data source for a channel whose ownership has been verified. It is not a guarantee of complete history, audience quality or perfect accuracy. Bot observations cover the connection and collection period, not the channel’s entire lifetime.
Where does Mr Traffic get Telegram channel data?
Mr Traffic uses available public Telegram channel data and recorded analytics snapshots, plus Bot API observations for channels connected to the Analytics Bot. Different sources cover different metrics and periods. Check the source, collection time and coverage shown with the data.
Why can Telegram statistics differ between Mr Traffic and other analytics services?
Statistics can differ because services use different collection times, sources, observation windows and metric definitions. Posts may also change after a snapshot. Compare like-for-like periods and definitions rather than assuming that one differing number proves an error.
What should I check before buying advertising in a Telegram channel?
Check audience relevance, recent post views, engagement, growth history, advertising frequency and placement terms together. Review several recent posts manually and look for inconsistencies. No single metric can establish whether a placement will work.

What is CPM in Telegram advertising?
CPM is the cost per 1,000 views: placement price ÷ views × 1,000. For example, $120 ÷ 20,000 views × 1,000 = $6 CPM. Using expected views gives an estimate, not a guaranteed result. Consider audience fit and placement terms alongside CPM.
How do I choose a Telegram channel for advertising?
Choose channels whose topic, language and audience match your campaign, then compare recent performance and advertising terms. Subscriber count alone is not enough. Unusual patterns are reasons to investigate, not proof of fake subscribers or manipulation.
Ownership & Analytics Bot
How do I verify ownership of a Telegram channel?
Sign in, open your channel management area and follow the ownership verification instructions. The public-channel flow asks you to temporarily place a generated verification code in the channel description and request a check. Follow the displayed expiry and removal instructions. This verifies control of the channel; it does not connect the Analytics Bot.
Why should I verify my Telegram channel?
Ownership verification lets you manage supported owner settings and advertising offers for your channel. It is also a prerequisite for connecting the Analytics Bot. Verification does not endorse the channel’s content or guarantee advertising performance.
What is the Mr Traffic Analytics Bot?
The Analytics Bot is an optional Telegram bot that collects supported channel analytics after a verified owner connects it. Add it with only the minimum permissions shown in setup; posting, editing and deleting permissions are not requested. Ownership verification and bot connection are separate steps.
What data does the Mr Traffic Analytics Bot collect?
The bot collects channel metadata, subscriber counts, new post dates and media types, and anonymous reaction totals when available. It does not collect message text or subscriber identities. The Bot API source does not provide historical posts or view and forward counts; collection starts after connection and includes only recorded observations.
Can the Mr Traffic Analytics Bot see subscriber identities?
No. The Mr Traffic Analytics Bot does not collect subscriber identities. Subscriber counts and anonymous reaction totals are aggregate metrics, not a list of who subscribes to or reacts in your channel.
Can I use Mr Traffic without connecting the Analytics Bot?
Yes. You can browse the public catalog and available public analytics without connecting the bot. Owners can verify ownership separately. Bot-derived metrics and the verified analytics source require a connection and may not be available for every channel or period.
Advertising & Marketplace
How does the Mr Traffic advertising marketplace work?
The marketplace lets you browse available advertising offers configured by verified channel owners and public advertising requests. Review the offer format, owner-set price and placement details before proceeding. An offer’s availability does not guarantee that a placement will be accepted or achieve a particular result.
Does Mr Traffic guarantee advertising results?
No. Mr Traffic does not guarantee views, clicks, sales or other advertising outcomes. Results depend on the channel, audience, creative, timing and placement. Analytics can support a decision but cannot predict every campaign’s performance.
Does Mr Traffic guarantee that analytics are completely accurate?
No. Analytics may be incomplete, delayed or limited by the source and collection window. Verified analytics identifies a data source, not perfect accuracy or complete history. Check timestamps and coverage, compare relevant metrics and review the channel manually.

Is my Mr Traffic account protected?
Mr Traffic uses account access controls, email verification and sign-in protections, but no service can promise absolute security. Use a strong, unique password, keep access to your email secure and sign out on shared devices. Never share passwords or verification links.
